SketchUp’s 3D Warehouse is an online collection of 3D models where designers can upload and download their creations. The main purpose of the program is to allow designers to download ready to use models instead of having to create them themselves.
The biggest benefit of 3D Warehouse is that it’s completely free for SketchUp users and anyone can download or upload their 3D models. This means that regardless of which version of SketchUp you’re using - SketchUp Free, SketchUp Pro, SketchUp Shop or SketchUp Studio, you’ll have access to 3D Warehouse.
Furthermore, even if you’re not a SketchUp user and you prefer working on other 3D modelling programs like Revit and AutoCAD, you’ll still be able to download models from 3D Warehouse.
The only thing to keep in mind is that in order to access 3D Warehouse, you’ll have to be using SketchUp 2017 or any later version. SketchUp 2016 and any prior versions don’t have access to the online library.
